August 30, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

FREE/Contributios Welcome & Appreciated

We do sincerely apologize for the movie not being shown on July 26.  DVD player died, bought a new one and it didn’t work.  We are as promised going to show the documentary move Hating Breitbart this Wednesday August 30th.  Have a brand new DVD player and it’s working fantastically.  Sooooo – on with the Show!

ANDREW BREITBART – Who is Andrew Breitbart, What is an Andrew Breitbart, Why is Andrew Breitbart so important to the Tea Party movement, and the American People.  This Wed Aug 30, we will show all that to you.

For an exciting and invigorating nite, a get your blood pumping  renewed spirit of Patriotism, we bring to you a very thought provoking, and MUST SEE documentary!  The man, who basically started it all – tea party, outing of FAKE news, telling it like it is news and more.Remember Andrew Breitbart and his controversial news network, the man who mysteriously supposedly died of a ‘heart attack’ at a very young age; the man who stood behind and beside the TEA PARTIES, the man who spoke what he thought and didn’t give a damn what others thought; started a very controversial news network that told the truth and nothing but the truth.  The people who worked for Breitbart are now part of the Trump administration, Stephen K. Bannon who ran Breitbart News Network then being named to a high level post in the Trump Administration -White House Chief of Staff Strategist, and more……..then left the White House to go back to Breitbart to help President Trump fight off FAKE news and all his enemies.  To continue the work of Andrew Breitbart.

Believe it or not this movie documentary was made in 2012 about Andrew and his controversial work and method of getting out the truth – surprisingly enough the name is ‘Hating Breitbart’.

Hating Breitbart is a 2012 political documentary about conservative media critic and alternative media icon Andrew Breitbart. The documentary was released on October 19, 2012, just seven months after Breitbart’s unexpected death.  Unexpected death?  really?

Remember names of James O’Keefe, Julia Hahn?

It’s a “surreal experience” to have a movie with sky-high fan scores, yet a 0% fresh score on review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes, says Andrew Marcus, the director of the documentary Hating Breitbart — about the late right-wing lightning rod Andrew Breitbart, the Bad Boy Whistleblower Icon. – You can judge a man by his enemies…..

Guess what guys – This Wednesday, at Denny’s Restaurant Banquet Room, 9030 N. Black Canyon Hgwy, Access Road, Dunlap Ave. Exit off the I-17, we are showing this Documentary.

With no critic giving the film a positive review, but a 96% positive user-reviewed experience, Marcus has found himself with the dubious honor of possibly having the biggest discrepancy between user and critical reviews in the site’s history.

Marcus wanted to make a film about Breitbart when he was on the ground covering the Tea Party protests that were cropping up in 2009. “I noticed a disconnect between what was being proclaimed in the media [about the Tea Party] and what I was witnessing on the ground,” Marcus explained to EW. Watching Breitbart make two speeches, Marcus came to realize that Breitbart was fighting the same battles as the Tea Party was. “By telling Andrew’s story we realized we could tell this larger story. He really personified the fight.”

That fight — about perceived media prejudices and validation for the Tea Party movement– is exactly the kind of topic that seems destined to be polarizing, so it wasn’t a huge surprise to Marcus when the reviews came in. “I think there’s a lot of factors that go into [the difference between critical and user reviews]. People who seek out documentary are passionate to begin with,” Marcus said. “We’ve certainly been making people aware that there are places they can go where they can go and rate the film. So I think people who are enthusiastic enough to have found the film, to have found us on Twitter or Facebook, they’re likely to rate the film. That makes them passionate. That explains why they have a high rating. I think equal forces are at play that inspire a low rating on the critic side.” Marcus also discussed possible politically motivated critical bias in which critics took their anger about Breitbart out on the film.

But Marcus may not even have to worry about his current dubious honor for long, according to Matt Atchity, editor-in-chief of RottenTomatoes.com. Atchity points out that “biggest range ever” label that some sites are ascribing to the film doesn’t tell the whole story — it mostly is a result of the super-small amount of both critical and fan reviews. The film currently has eight critical reviews and 629 user reviews. (For comparison, The Internship has 113 critical reviews and 31,000 user reviews.) “The smaller pool you have the bigger variations you have, especially between users and critics,” Atchity told EW, explaining that the numbers quickly come closer together once more critics and fans alike see the film. “The other issue is that the user number tends to be a self-selecting pool. …The Hating Breitbart documentary has really only been made available to people that decide to order it from the website. You’ve got to really work to see it, which kind of implies that you’ve got to want to see it.”

A huge Thank you to Marilyn who brought this to my attention.  Watched it, immediately went to Amazon and bought it.  Now you all will get to see it.  It will be a special time as the documentary is 92 minutes long, 1 hr and ½.  We will be starting it shortly before 7 pm – probably 6:45 pm so we have a few minutes afterwards for any comments.  I do hope you all go away after the movie invigorated, a new enthusiasm, and passion for what our Country needs and support of President Trump, our Military, our Vets, 1st Responders, our families, and what makes us Americans, the passion to fight for FREEDOM and LIBERTY!  DO NOT SIT BACK thinking we have President Trump in office now so we can sit back and relax.  NO! HELL NO!  This is when we all need to get STRONGER AND MORE PASSIONATE IN OUR FIGHT FOR WHAT IS RIGHT!
Bring your friends, relatives, neighbors, congressmen, senators, candidates, bring someone with you and get excited!
See ya Wednesday night August 30 2017.  Doors open 6 pm.  Meeting will start little earlier to get the movie in and have some time for discussion 6:15-6:20 pm.
