Bill and his wife Debbie are the proud owners and operators of Basic Training MedX Strength Training in Scottsdale, Arizona since 1992. He has been In the fitness industry for 42 years. He’s from Colorado and now lives in Scottsdale Az.
His Training Center is state of the art fitness and strength training providing memberships, professional science-based training services and weight loss programs using the finest equipment available anywhere.
The Crawford’s dedication to personal service, knowledge and motivational skills help clients attain their fitness goals worldwide.
They were recently voted Best of Scottsdale 2019; Scottsdale Progress; Best Place to Exercise, and Best Personal Trainer.
Bill Crawford has been a leader in the fitness industriy since 1977. He owned and developed fitness and rehab facilities around the world. His expertise and unique ability to connect and change the lives of people from various backgrounds has earned him national recognition.
Bill was inducted into the National Fitness Hall of Fame in 2012 for his life’s work and contribution to the fitness industry. He was also elected to chair the NFHOF board from 2015-2017. Bill represented the NFHOF in Washington, DC; worked with two U.S. Surgeon Generals’ – Regina Benjamin and Vivek Murthy; the American College of Sports Medicine. and others on national fitness policies.

as well as worked on a Security Detail with Hermann Cain when Cain ran for President in 2012.
Bill is currently running for Scottsdale City Council. He is a Community Leader being involved in civic activities as well as volunteering with numerous organizations including founder and president of the Association to Preserve Downtown Scottsdale’s Quality of Life and a co-founder of the Downtown Scottsdale Economic Vitality Coalition with former Scottsdale City Council members Betty Drake and Wayne Ecton.
Bill Crawford is a very busy man who is not afraid to put time into volunteering on many various committees including a volunteer fireman and search and rescue team member plus a decorated volunteer with Maricopa County Sheriff’s Posse for over 10 years.
His business was shut down by Gov Ducey’s mask and social distancing mandates. He recently held a rally at Wesley Bolin Plaza to raise awareness of opening up Arizona and the importance of the Gyms, and Fitness Centers to people. I believe under updated mandates, Bill’s gym as just recently reopened.
Bill will explain all that when he speaks.
