Jess Mears, a Grassroots Trainer in the Education & Training Dept of Americans for Prosperity under American for Prosperity Foundation reached out to me asking if they can come and do an educational presentation. We haven’t heard from this group in a long time.  They’re out of Arlington, Virginia.  So we came up w/an agreed upon date for Jess to come out to talk to us.

This is an Educational presentation on the Filibuster rule.  This is an interesting rule that I’m sure not everyone is totally aware of in the government system.

Now for the interesting part.  Senator Sinema is a critical member of Congress who is defending the filibuster rule.  This can be or good or bad depending on which side one is on.  This presentation is to make sure Arizona residents understand what the Filibuster Rule is, the history of this rule and reasons why it is best interest of the public to maintain the Filibuster Rule.

The presentation is approximately 45 minutes which should then give us all time for a Q & A afterwards.  This is being done by a professional trainer.  I’m not even 100% sure of what the rule is on a Filibuster.  Just know it’s being done a lot lately.

Come join us Wednesday July 28, 2021 at iHop Restaurant 4201 W Bell Rd, Phoenix, Az.  Doors open 6 pm; mtg starts 6:30 pm and we will probably have the speaker start at 6:45 pm to make sure we get the presentation done and have Q & A time.

This gives you all time to get there, order food, and eat.  The $5 Happy Hour food menu is great along with thr $3 snack menu.  Of course there is always the iHop regular menu available.
