You asked, we responded. You all should have received our Candidate Picks and why we are supporting these candidates. We are supporting Lacy Cooper – we know Lacy and her heart for the people of Arizona.
Lacy is basically already doing the job of an Attorney General on the Federal and State Prosecutor levels. She had a super Fundraiser down at Falcon field with Sheriff Mark Lamb who supporting Lacy. They are on the same page when it comes to immigration, US Constitution, Rule of Law, Bill of Rights, and Election Integrity. She is For the People of Arizona, a fighter for our rights as citizens of the United States with a proven record in the courts both Federal and State. With NO prepared speeches she talks straight from her heart giving the people Truth vs rheteric.
If you haven’t been able to hear Lacy before, you need to come and listen to Lacy talk. Even if you have heard her before, it would be wise to come and hear her again to refresh your mind as to why she is the best qualified to be Arizona’s next Attorney General. You may even hear things you didn’t hear before. Ask the hard questions. She will give you straight answers. If she isn’t sure of an honest, she will find out. She won’t be fake and try to buffalo you with rheteric and false answers.
Rachel Mitchell
Rachel Mitchell, Candidate for Maricopa County Attorney most recently appointed Interim County Attorney by a majority vote of the Board of Supervisors.
She will be joining Lacy on Wednesdy May 18, 2022.
Rachel Mitchell is a lifelong conservative and a veteran prosecutor who will restore trust in the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office .
As County Attorney, she’s dedicated her career to protecting families by prosecuting crimes against children, ensuring the integrity of our legal system, and leading teams of prosecutors holding dangerous criminals accountable.
She has served at all levels of the office. She has overseen teams of prosecutors for 17 years, including the sex-crimes bureau, which prosecutes crimes that involve child molestation and adult sexual assault. Mitchell has prosecuted hundreds of complex offenses, including charges against high-profile individuals.
In 2020, Mitchell was responsible for the creation of the MCAO Prosecution Integrity Unit, which is responsible for overseeing conviction integrity and concerns involving law enforcement misconduct. She has advocated strengthening crimes against children and sex assault laws in the state and has pushed for changes in the courtroom to comfort victims testifying in abuse cases. She regularly teaches on a variety of criminal justice topics and is a nationally-recognized speaker on sex assault and child abuse prosecution.
In 2019, she served as the acting Maricopa County Attorney after the appointment of Bill Montgomery to the Arizona Supreme Court. Previously, she was the Chief Deputy County Attorney, and Chief of the Special Victims Division.In 2018, Mitchell rose to national prominence when she was requested by the Senate Judiciary Committee to serve as Nominations Investigative Counsel and question both Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and Brett Kavanaugh during Kavanaugh’s widely publicized confirmation hearings for Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.
