AZGOP officers will no longer be able to ignore the bylaws with impunity, if the New Proposed AZGOP Bylaws are passed at the Mandatory Meeting. Simply stated, these new bylaws restore control of the party to the members of the state committee, as originally intended, and prevent leadership from becoming lawless. Other significant and dramatic bylaws changes will be highlighted at the Grassroots Tea Party on Wednesday, December 27^th at 6:30 pm at Denny’s Restaurant, 9030 N. Black Canyon Highway Access Road (nw cor. I-17 and Dunlap), by Russell Sias, La Paz County chairman and co-author along with Marianne Ferrari of this complete revamp of the party’s bylaws. Sias states that the “official” AZGOP bylaws committee was in breech of current bylaws from the moment it was formed. Thus, its work product is not eligible for a vote at the Mandatory Meeting. Only the fully revamped New Proposed AZGOP Bylaws, which were submitted to the Secretary, as stipulated in the current bylaws, are eligible to be voted on by the state committee.
