Nick Myers is a husband and father being married for almost 17 yrs to his lovely wife Katerina.  They have 3 daughters plus run a family business for about 10 yrs.

He has spent last four years working with the ACC to remedy decades of water issues for his community so he definitely understands first hand all trials and tribulations that go along with Commission from a ratepayer viewpoint.  This is what gives him a unique advantage point to fight for you the consumer who is the customer of the utilities.

He already accomplished the following at the Commission:

• Restored water services to a local community who had their water removed arbitrarily by the local utility
• Helped a customer who was discriminated against by a utility with her formal complaint arriving ultimately at a settlement with the utility
• Was pivotal in groundbreaking effort within State of Arizona that culminated in getting an interim manager installed into a Class A utiity that was abusing customers and ratepayer money for over 20 yrs.
• Been involved in ongoing battles with a utility in an effort to get them to uphold its openly stated committments to its customers.

Nick decided to run for Corporation Commission as Arizona has dealt with a commission that has neglected the people, doing whatever they want and get away with it.  He feels that We the People need someone willing to stand up for them now and in the future – someone who will look out for their best interests proactively instead reactively.
