After some miscommunication emails from the Ward Campaign I received an email directly from Kelli Ward.

I am taking partial blame for the miscommunication in that I called it a Forum vs a ‘speaking’ engagement.

In part from Kelli’s email to me:

” I’m not doing any candidate forums until the spring unless Senator McCain also participates – not yours or LD23’s. I’m sure you can appreciate that we have a plan as to how to run this campaign. I appreciate the opportunities that I’ve had to speak at your tea party in the past (including already speaking there recently) and look forward to continuing a great relationship.”

“I’m sorry that I cannot attend and I look forward to speaking with them again in the near future. I look forward to doing candidate forums in the spring. At this point I am focusing on increasing my name recognition and meeting new people while maintaining relationships I’ve already built. This is a huge state and an enormous undertaking. In order to win, I have to reach beyond the choir and get the word out that we have a Constitution-loving woman who can retire Sen. McCain!

For this reason we have decided it best to cancel the Candidate Forum scheduled for Dec 2.  Please see the calendar for Dec 2 as we have Candidate Alex Meluskey as our Featured Guest Speaker that night.

We will have Sen. Kelli Ward speak in beginning 2016, possibly January and doing a Senate Candidate Speaking Nite possibly some time in either February or March.

Working all that out with Senator Candidates to get a date that works for everyone.
