Clair Van Steenwyk, US Senatorial Candidate in 2016 will be our Guest Speaker at the Grassroots Tea Party Activists Wednesday, January 20, 2016.

Van grew up in Bellflower, California in a family where strong Christian values were taught as well as good strong work ethics.  He had a variety of jobs in his life ranging from passing out flyers, mopping floors, dishwasher, shining shoes, pumping gas, bottling and selling milk.  Van even worked in the steel industry and then in the food industry where he started out on the ground floor and rose to become an executive with several food companies in California being responsible for a large staff, budgets, product development, marketing, etc.

My wife Jean and I started a property management company developing it to more than 30 properties over 4 states.  They owned an antique store in Iowa , opened a Halfway House in California, and a Christian Coffee House for teenagers.  Needless to say, they were a busy couple involved with people in one form or another.

Van is not afraid to tackle anything and his goal now is tackling current Senator John McCain to move him out of his over extended stay in the Senate.
