Wednesday July 20, 2016 we are proud to have as our Guest speaker Dr. Jana Jackson. Dr. Jackson is a candidate for Maricopa County Superintendent of Schools. Her website is www.jacksonForCountySuperintendent.com; phone 602-516-4781.

In line with our July 4th Theme, Jana is doing a presentation ‘What Makes America FREE’ DREAM WEAVER: The Meaning of our Flag.  Couldn’t have come at a better time.  Do believe this was all God driven.  The idea came to me to do the July 6 meeting about America, Freedom & Liberty, then Jana gives me a call few days later about her idea of a presentation she wants to do about America being FREE and what does our Flag mean.  Talk about a God inspired subject…..WOW!

Jana ist real fireball. An extremely passionate individual with a huge heart for the children in the schools, compassion, a true Patriot, and interested in what her constituents want in their schools.

Jana Jackson will present “What makes this country Free” A tribute to our American Flag. This presentation honors the contributions of men and women who have served our County for these many years. Jana will give a detailed description of the first Grant  she will submit if given the opportunity to be the County Superintendent to show the quality of what she brings to the office.

This program will honor the Vets who collected signatures for her in the primary as her way of giving back to them.  Many people talk about what could be done but do not show how it will be done. Jana wants to show to our Vets this is a program that we can & will do.

Also featured will be song and music with Jana’s daughter singing patriotic song & Budd Gilbert play harmonica(?).  Jana’s purpose is to invite families of vets and their loved ones.

We look forward to hearing from Dr. Jackson. Denny’s Restaurant Banquet Room, 2717 W Bell Rd, Phoenix, Arizona. Doors open 6 pm to get a good seat /table, grab a bite to eat.  Due to this special presentation, we will start at 6 pm and depending how it works out, may go til 9 pm.
