Tracy Sands Livingston is a current Candidate for Superintendent of Public Instruction in Maricopa County.  She is among 3 other candidates running for this position including incumbent Diane Douglas.

Tracy is from Queens New York and currently lives in Peoria, Az married to David Alan Livingston since 1988.

She studied broadcasting and theater at Arizona State University.  Tracy is an elected member at Maricopa Community colleges and a 9th Grade English and Drama Teacher at Dysart High School as well as on the PUSD Governing Board · January 2012 to February 2014 · Peoria, Arizona.

Tracy is a wife, mother, teacher, politician and blogger as well as a world traveler. She says she can have either a wicked sense of humor or terribly poor timing. She enjoys the simple pleasures of teaching and the difference she makes everyday with her life revolving around her family, students and the difference one person can create.

Tracy will talk on why she is running and feels she is best qualified for this position.  She will be doing a Q & A so have your questions ready.
