In Our Hands, The Battle for Jerusalem. Narrated by Henry Goodman, Sharon Friedman, Idan Barkal, Yishay Ben Moshe, Yehoyachin Friedlander, Yitzhak Laor, Ori Zaltzman and Rami Baruch. It is a 2017 movie documentary from The christian Broadcasting network. Written & Directed by Erin Zimmerman. This is on the morning of June 7, 1967, Col. Motta Our sent a message over the radio and the entire world listened as City of Jerusalem was reunited under Jewish control for the first time in nearly 1900 years.
The film was shot entirely on location in Israel. It tells the story of the battle for Jerusalem through the eyes of Israels 55th Paratrooper Brigade. It combines strong dramatic reenactments and archival footage; interviews with veterans of the Six Day War, and commentary from former Israeli Ambassador to the United States Michael Oren, author of Six Days of War.
Note: Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are advising people to either wear long sleeves, or bring a sweater. When Denny’s fixed their air conditioning couple weeks ago, someone locked the thermostat that none of can get to it to change it. Not even the manager has a key. It’s set at 74 and gets to be a wee bit chilly.
