House Rep Anthony Kern has graciously offered us an evening at the Capital.  He will provide a grand tour of the Capital, the meeting rooms, where they do their bills, voting, and provide info on the process of how a Bill is brought up, voted on and submitted or turned down.

Will be a lot of fun and learning experience.  Anthony is willing to stay til 6 pm to get us started and go thru everything and teach us the whole way the process works.  Then we can in turn, inform others of the process.  Much better to do this way and see where and how it all happens.

We will be meeting down at the capitol front door area. Anthony has asked that we meet at 5 pm and that we be flexible.  He is hoping there is not a budget meeting that day.

We will not be having our regular meeting at Denny’s on the 15 th.  Please respond to grtp@grassrootsteapartyactivists.com to let me know you are attending so I can put a list together to have and provide Anthony when we get there to check names off and know who we need to wait for/look for.  We don’t want to leave anyone behind and want to make sure everyone is able to get in.

Once everyone is there we can get started.  As an FYI at the moment as of this date, Wednesday, May 8, we have 3 possibly 4 confirmed attendees plus Dave & I.  Please respond by email to me at grtp@grassrootsteapartyactivists.com.  Would really like to have a list of names to check off upon arriving at the Capitol to ensure we don’t miss anyone.  Thanks!
