Larry Schweikert is a man of many talents, one being an awesome author, mainly REAGAN: The American President.  The list of books he has authored includes: A Patriot’s History of the United States; 48 Liberal Lies About American History: (That You Probably Learned in School); and much much more.

Professor Larry Schweikart, a.k.a. Professor Larry, America’s History Teacher.  He shares his knowledge with all ages teaching thousands – people of all ages – about the past so they can better understand today.  He is a a New York Times  best-selling author, a news commentator sharing political insights on major news outlets including Fox, Al-Jazeera, Glenn Beck, Travis Smiley and Rush Limbaugh. Most recently, he’s the history wiz behind the online history hub, The Wild World of History, a site where history lovers, political enthusiasts, teachers and homeschoolers can get their dose of history’s wild world and find powerful resources to teach it.

Professor Larry is a native-born Arizonian, who, after graduating from Arizona State University with a BA in Political Science, went on the road as a rock-and-roll drummer  performing with several different bands and , opening for 60s/70s iconic acts including Steppenwolf. He abruptly decided he wanted to be a history professor, and received an MA from ASU in history, then a Ph.D. from University of California, Santa Barbara. He began his teaching career at the University of Dayton in 1985 where he stayed until retiring.  I wager this will be a very interesting evening with Professor Larry.

Larry produced a documentary film, “Rockin’ the Wall,” in 2009.  It is about rock music’s part in bringing down the Iron Curtain. It appeared on PBS and is still the foremost documentary on the subject of rock-and-roll’s influence in world events.

His best-selling books include Seven Events that Made America, 48 Liberal Lies About American History, and his #1 NY times bestseller, with Mike Allen, A Patriot’s History of the United States. In 2015 he perceived Donald Trump would win the presidency and began chronicling his campaign in his 2017 book with Joel Pollak, How Trump Won, which was rejected by every publisher until after the election.

Professor Larry will be speaking at our Grassroots Tea Party Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Denny’s Restaurant Banquet Room 9030 N. Black Canyon Rd, Access Rd, Dunlap Ave exit off the I-17.  Doors open 6 pm; meeting starts 6:30 pm, speaker at 7 pm.
