Brief recap before the Primary August 4, 2020.

Stephen Richer to conducted an independent review of the County Recorder’s Office.  Stephen did it at no cost to the Party.

Issues with the Office still exist – reason  Stephen running for Maricopa County Recorder.

Stephen is a Lawyer for an International Law Firm here in a Phoenix.
Practiced law with some of the state’s top legal minds;

Spoken on panels with respected federal judges;

Worked on multi-million dollar matters.

 Worked in public policy for groups ie: American Enterprise Institute, Washington Legal Foundation, and  Cato Institute.

Stephen holds three degrees (BA, MA, JD), including a law degree from The University of Chicago Law School.

He received many academic awards while in school: USA Today All-Academic Team, Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude graduate, the Mulroy Prize for Oral Advocacy, The 34 Club Award for the Top 34 Students of the University, the Ann Watson Law School award, and National Merit Scholar Finalist.

His commitment to public service and life is similarly well-documented. He serves on the board of the Arizona Humanities; a former Arizona Industry Fellow with the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and on the board of the Federalist Society’s Phoenix Lawyers Chapter.
He received The Volunteer Service Award; Gold Class, from President George W. Bush for his work helping restore the Southern Gulf following the destruction of Hurricane Katrina, while attending college and received The Donald E. Egan Award for a Reputation for Integrity.

Stephen gained a unique understanding of the Recorder’s Office while investigating complaints of fraud in the last election.  He interviewed over 30 people regarding the Office and their concerns / experience on the last Election Day as well a studying Arizona election laws reviewing all available documents.

Stephen’s Team consists of people with expert knowledge of government in Arizona, people with deep connections to Arizona voters, and skilled business professionals who know how to run large organizations.
