Great Patriot of our Tea Party Marilyn Sloan travels to Israel every year. This year she brings to us Rabbi Lieberman from Ashkelon, Israel to be our speaker November 10 when he will be in Phoenix. Rabbi Lieberman is very much looking forward to coming to Phoenix and speaking to the group.
He will speak on what is going on in Israel – the truth of what is happening; the dangerous conditions; hospitals for the children, education of the young men and women; hospitals for the sick; food for the needy; building of schools, playgrounds, dorms, and more.
Marilyn brought me picture albums which tells a lot more than I can here. Rabbi teaches responsibility for oneself, no free lunch even if just a sheckel for the Food Boxes, they are taught to be responsible for themselves. While the pictures may not show people living in a war torn area, they are under constant attack from the Islamic people. The Rabbi with the help from others, rebuild schools, shelters, hospitals and more. Majority of people in Ashkelon are from Morocco, Tunisia, Iraq – all coming from 3rd world countries with nothing but the clothes on their backs. The Rabi and Chabad have built what they have in Ashkelon. Many of the children are from broken homes; homeless families, many in need of hospital care.
What the Rabbi and Chabad have done and accomplished is nothing more than miraculous! With God All things are possible.
You will see bomb shelters, bebuilding of schools, providing food (not free but given to all which these people are glad to have), teaching / training/ educating men and women in the field of carpentry, mechanics, electronics, computers, technology, and architecture; gifts to the little children at Chunaka, as well as gifts for the ‘special needs’ children, mentally disabled, etc.
You will see those with masks and w/o masks. They have a choice. There are other clergy, teachers & volunteers in these pictures. They are taught respect for one another, their elders, and themselves. Nothing and no one is taken for granted. Something we as Americans have lost sight of.
Please help us welcome Rabbi Lieberman who is taking time to speak to us from Ashkelon, Israel. He is a visitor here in Arizona. Ask your questions, acquire good information and learn from the Rabbi and please be respectful.
