This Wednesday, March 29, 2023, Jerry Sheridan, Maricopa County Sheriff Candidate is our guest speaker.
Jerry is a former Chief Deputy and Detention Officer and raised in Queens, New York who moved to Arizona, now living in Fountain Hills in 1976. His attendance at Catholic School from 1st grade thru 12th grade gave him what he feels gave him a solid educational background. He attended the Phoenix Police Academy providing him training to do his job.
The post I have for Jerry Sheridan, Elect Jerry Sheridan for Sheriff is from his 2020 campaign. He was narrowly defeated by the democrat Penzone. We do not want that to happen again this time around. With the fraudulent elections of November 2, 2022 including Mayes supposedly winning Attorney General seat by a mere 250 votes, we need Jerry as our County Sheriff to ensure justice is served.
His Dad was a NY police officer so being a police officer is in his blood. I, personally can attest to those who were and/or are police officers. My dad was a police officer, my uncle was a police officer and my husband became a police officer promoted to Detective. I, myself have been interested in law enforcement so being married to a police officer was a natural.
Jerry met his wife while on the police force. She was the daughter of a police officer.
Jerry is a long time Phoenix Police Officer moving up in the ranks from Patrol deputy officer and after 5 years was promoted to Corporal, assigned a squad, transferr3d to District 4, a newly created substation serving the northeastern portion of the County. Jerry was promoted to Captain in 1993 where he was assigned to District 3, the northwestern part of the
County. During the twelve years Jerry was Chief of Custody he was appointed to the Arizona Peace Officers Standards and Training Board first by Governor Hull and two subsequent governors. He considers this the highlight of his career. He also obtained his Masters in Organizational Management and graduated from the FBI National Academy.
