Van is extremely well versed on the US and Az constitution.  He is well versed in a variety of subjects.  He is married to a great gal Jean and live in AZ’s West Valley. Van is very aware of the Voting issues facing the AZ’s Voters throughout Maricopa County, and AZ.  

Clair Van Steenwyk ran for US Senate in 2016 as well as Maricopa County Recorder in 2020.   He did very well both times.  Van is taking that momentum and running for As Senate in LD 22 in the 2022 Election.

Van grew up in Bellflower, California in a family with good strong Christian values and work ethics.  He had a variety of jobs in his life ranging from passing out flyers, mopping floors, dishwasher, shining shoes, pumping gas, bottling and selling milk.  Van even worked in the steel industry; then the food industry starting out on the ground floor rising to an executive positions with several food companies in California.

Van and his wife Jean and started a property management company developing it to more than 30 properties over 4 states.  They owned an antique store in Iowa , opened a Halfway House in California, and a Christian Coffee House for teenagers.  Needless to say, they were a busy couple involved with people in one form or another.  This gives Van the perfect background for any political office.  He has the people skills needed and the US Constitution knowledge it takes to be part of this Country’s purpose in keeping it FREE.

Van is not afraid to tackle anything and his goal now is tackling current administratio which has gone way outside of what is Constitutionally legal.  We need a man with principles and integrity and more. That man is Clair Van Steenwyk.  Our Constitution is  being trampled on – Van is a man willing to fight for Freedom and Liberty at any cost that is legal and Bible based.
