Diane Douglas – Candidate for School Superintendent

November 13, 2013 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm MST

FREE

Diane Douglas is a very strong Conservative & Constitutional Candidate running for Superintendent of Schools here in Arizona.

Having become increasingly concerned about our educational system, instead of returning to her former profession as a financial analyst in the corporate world after her daughter graduated high school, Diane ran for a seat on the local school board.  Elected by the voters in 2004 and again in 2008 to the Peoria Unified School Board (one of the largest districts in the state), she was twice elected by her peers to serve as the Board President.

During Diane’s time on the board, student achievement, graduation rates, and financial accountability increased while administrative costs decreased and school tax rates declined by 32%.  Her belief is that parents–not the village (as stated by Hillary Clinton)—have the authority and responsibility to direct the education and upbringing of their children.

We now have a new challenge to our education system:   The Obama plan to “fundamentally change” America is federalizing the control of our education system through ObamaED, a.k.a. Common Core.

Diane is prepared to fight for our children’s education.  As Washington bureaucrats stress culture over content, social engineering over student achievement and conspire to rewrite the story of American Education, Diane is fighting for our freedoms and liberties and a strong Educational system whereby our Students can use their imagination, their thinking skills, reading, writing, and conceptual design skills to build a better America.

Join us this Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the Denny’s Restaurant in the Banquet Room, 5161 W Thunderbird Rd (52nd Ave/ Thunderbird Rd), Glendale, Arizona.  Meeting starts at 6:30; the doors open 6:00 PM.  Speakers start 6:45-7:00 pm depending on Announcements and current business.

We look forward to seeing all true conservatives and constitutionalists wanting to change our Country back to the Founding Fathers’ America as they envisioned.
